• Badrinath Dham: Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Badrinath Dham's idol of Lord Badri was discovered by Adi Shankaracharya in the Alaknanda River and placed in a cave near the Tapt Kund. A Garhwal King later constructed the temple, now known as Badrinath Dham.
